The Luddite: Synopsis

Ethan Brunner is a young, talented veterinary assistant who has just lost his job to an android.
As he struggles to get by in a society that has seemingly cast him aside, a single bad decision sends him into a downward spiral of paranoia and madness that ultimately leads him to reject technology altogether and lead his like-minded contemporaries in a revolt against this indifferent world.
Set in a near-future Minneapolis, The Luddite tells the foreboding tale of what can happen when the forgotten and downtrodden are pushed too far.

Sarah Gessels

And another turnaround in the bag! This would be one of the side characters, I have in mind a tomboyish personality for her.

Korinne Sumenthe

Another character turnaround and some head sketches and doodling.

Ethan Brunner

Here's a character "turnaround" drawing from my upcoming graphic novel "The Luddite". More drawings in a bit, it's late and I gotta crash.

Couple more

Gah, forgot these. Practice environments.

Been a while...

I just got this comp copy of "Revenge of the Giants" in the mail from Wizards of the Coast, which means... I get to post something! These are the giants from the book. One of the most fun projects I've worked on.

New Doodles

So I was thinking today... what if I got a new tattoo that was just one word: "tattoo." Would that be stupid? Anyway, here's a couple recent doodles. Enjoy.

Middlewhite study and some doodles

The first one's a study for a painting I'll be doing for my show at the Encinitas Library in August. The plan: to do a series of paintings telling a story, kind of a comic book on the wall.
The others are just doodles I did while bored at the cafe. It's hard to keep your sanity there sometimes.

Bone Wretch

A character design I did for Wizards of the Coast. You can see others I've done on my website or in the Dungeons & Dragons supplement book: "Open Grave".

This is the finished version of my robot "Gunrilla", which I submitted to Spectrum. Finished in Photoshop.
